This was a pretty quick visit. Everything looked great. Baby's heart rate was about 148 - 150. My belly measured 30 cm which is right on target, and I only gained a pound since last visit (which was the goal). We received our hospital pre-registration packet which makes this all more real. It's filled with information about the hospital along with a couple forms we are to fill out. Mainly to be sure we are insured and supply info such as visiting hours, a map of the hospital, etc. I go back to Dr. Hua on Feb 24th for my 32 week check up.
Next exciting appointment though is the Welcome to Pediatrics Class. On Feb 16th we'll learn about how the pediatrics department works, what happens in the hospital, and what to look for in the first few weeks at home with the baby. The doctor instructing the class will also go over feeding, common skin conditions, colic, and when to call for help. We will be shown the Camino Division Pediatricians as well (I think through slides). I'll be sure to blog how the class goes on the 18th when I'll be uploading the latest progression belly shots.
