Kellen at Three Months

As promised, here are a few photos from our trip down to Santa Barbara. They are absolutely beautiful. As always, Kacie did an amazing job. We love you Kacie!!!

Side note, Kellen had his first giggles last night. It was the most beautiful sound in the world. I got teary eyed at the sound of it. Jeremy got him to giggle first, then I continued what Jeremy was doing, and he did it for me too. Such a precious moment!!! We're hoping to capture it on video soon (of course he wouldn't do it once I thought to grab the camera...).

Road Trip!!!

We hopped in the car at 6:00am Saturday morning and headed down to Santa Barbara. My dear friend Kacie just moved so we wanted to check out their new digs as well as test out our new car, and get Kellen his three month photos. Kellen slept the entire time, and travelled great! We stopped by the University so I could get some UCSB garb, ate brunch, and made it to the Fowle Residence by around 11:00. That night we enjoyed some of Jason's great BBQ as well as hang out with Kacie's sister (recently back from Ecuador), parents, and close friend Sarah who brought over her 6 week old twins.

On Sunday we went to the French Festival, and enjoyed music & a crepe. We left and ate dinner at Giovanni's, then it was off to the beach for pictures. Although it was near Kellen's bed time, he was a trooper & Kacie worked her magic to get some unforgettable pictures for us. It was a whirlwind trip, but we had a great time and I loved spending time with Kacie, her little girl Camille, and the rest of her family.

Talk to Me Goose

Kellen has become increasingly more vocal each day. He loves talking away to us mimicking our sounds. Here's a video of him in action. If you're having a bad day, I'm sure this 1 1/2 minute clip will have you smiling in no time. He loves sitting in this position to talk. This position as Auntie Staci pointed out, is called the Wind Relieving pose in yoga. Watch to find out why...:)

Happy Fourth of July!

We had a mellow Fourth this year. On the third, we walked down to the Sunnyvale Farmers Market, and met up with some friends for breakfast. Here are some great pics taken by our friend Rey Carlos (baby Gianna's dad). On the Fourth, we went up to my parent's house and enjoyed great family & friend company. Great food too! My dad's ribs are AMAZING!! I can't get enough of those things!!

Fun in the Sun!

Summer is in full swing! Just a quick post to show how Kellen is being sun smart wearing his hat & sunglasses. Kellen LOVES being outside. So, we want to make sure he gets used to wearing his hat and sunglasses now.
